Noncom Application Process


 Carefully and prayerfully consider your desire and availability to serve up to nine weeks of the summer. NOTE: Dates for the 2025 season are June 8 - August 6, 2025.

  1. Be aware that attendance at the training weeks (June 8-20, 2025) is required. During the remainder of the summer, you may take off one week (or two if you need them). The camp season ends on August 6.

  2. When you’re ready to apply, click the “Apply” button on the home page of this site or click here. Your application should be submitted no later than March 15 (earlier is better).

  3. When you submit your application, you will receive an automatic reply email. Read that email carefully, especially the part of the email that refers to the position you applied for.

  4. If you are applying as a first year noncom you will need three references from adults who know you well but who are not related to you. Include your reference names and contact information on your application. Your references will receive an email inviting them to complete the reference form.

  5. During the month of March we will contact you to schedule a personal, face-to-face or virtual interview.

  6. After submitting your application, completing your interview and submitting three references, we will let you know whether you have been accepted to serve as a noncom.
